The American actor Vin Diesel has been sued this Thursday by a woman who claims to have worked as his assistant and having suffered a sexual assault in 2010 during the filming of the movie ‘Fast Five‘.

In the document presented before the Superior Court of Los Angeles (USA), the plaintiff Asta Jonasson assures that the star of ‘Fast & Furious’ He groped her, forcibly kissed her and masturbated in front of her in a hotel room in Atlanta (Georgia).

“Jonasson continually struggled to free himself from his grasp, while repeatedly saying no,” but Vin Diesel ignored the “nor consent” of women, the document says. The lawsuit also describes that finding himself unable to escape the situation, Jonasson closed his eyes “trying to dissociate and wishing the assault would end.”

The woman was fired

The woman describes that the attack happened a little more than a week after being hired by Diesel and its production company, One Race Productions, for the filming of the fifth film in the popular vehicle franchise, and that one day after the facts she was fired for not reciprocating the interpreter’s insinuations.

The woman also sued One Race Productions and the president of the company and Diesel’s sister, Samantha Vincent, who according to the victim’s story, was in charge of calling her to fire her. “He felt like he was a piece of trash that needed to be thrown away.. “She felt helpless, her self-esteem was demolished and she questioned her own abilities and whether a successful career would require an exchange of her body for a promotion,” the lawsuit continues.

Jonasson brought the case under the California Sexual Assault and Concealment Accountability Act, active since January, which gives a three-year period for victims of sexual assault to file lawsuits against their aggressors and accomplices, even if the crime has expired. In addition to the sexual assault allegation, the lawsuit also alleges discrimination based on gender reason, unfair dismissal, retaliation and negligent supervision.
