“Scar” is a series adaptation of the best-selling book by one of the most popular Spanish writers, Juan Gomez-Jurado. The director, Miguel Angel Vivas, is responsible for its implementation. He reunited with screenwriters Pablo Roa and Fernando Sancristóbal, who also contributed to the creation of the hit production. What is the plot about and who will we see in the main roles?

The main character of the thriller is Irina from Ukraine, who, when she was only 9 years old, survived an attack on her family. As an adult woman, she decides to leave her homeland and go to sunny Spain to find members of the Eastern European mafia. She wants to avenge those who killed her parents, hoping that she will be able to find her sister, who was abducted during these events. Trained by a former army sergeant, she devises a plan for revenge. However, a talented programmer, Simón, appears in the way of achieving his goal, and he also comes face to face with demons from his past.

Although work on the set has only just begun, it is already known that “Scar” will premiere in 2024 on both Canal+ Premium and Canal+ Online. The main roles will be played by Milena Radulovic, whose popularity was brought by the Russian “Abyss”, and Juanlu Gonzáleza, known from the series “Valeria”. The remaining cast members have not been revealed yet, but it is certain that we will also see a Polish actor on the screen.
As the creators announce, the series will be full of action scenes and will provide viewers with many extreme emotions. It is a combination of cinema in the style of “Nikita” with the story of coming-of-age and a brutal “baptism in fire” straight from “Hanna”. – “Scar”, starting from the story itself, through an intriguing mix of southern and eastern climates, an unusual and far from stereotypes look at Spain, production value and the participation of the screenwriters of the cult “House of Cards”, promises to be a hit that will be talked about a lot.
