S³awa Przybylska is a legend of the Polish music scene, and almost everyone knows her hits. Even though he is 91 years old, he does not intend to give up and still performs on stage. As he declares, he intends to sing until his death.

Sława Przybylska was born in 1932. She began her artistic career in 1956 at the Student Satirists’ Theater. A year later, she won the Polish Radio competition. She gained popularity in 1958 when she provided the voice in the song “Remember, it was autumn” in Wojciech Has’s film “Pożegnania”. Her “Where are the flowers from those years?” and “Love in Portofino” are sung by subsequent generations.

Fame came to Przybylska quickly. Shortly after working on the film “Farewells”, her talent was noticed and she began to receive offers of cooperation with composers. In one of the interviews, the artist admitted that at that time she did not have a telephone, and the musicians left her cards asking to contact her. — Then I had to go to a payphone and call back — . As a child, she saw the liquidation of the Jewish ghetto in her hometown, Międzyrzec Podlaski, which led her to become involved with the Jewish Theater and learn to sing in Yiddish. The artist’s first husband was Jerzy Kostarczyk, but even though the union resulted in a daughter, the spouses quickly separated. Sława Przybylska’s true love was Jan Krzyżanowski, with whom she was associated for almost 60 years.
