Politician and businessman Rudolph Rudy Giuliani declared bankruptcy days after receiving a court order to pay $148 million in a defamation suit. The plaintiffs are two people who worked on the presidential elections in the state of Georgia in 2020.

Giuliani, 79, swears he has $153 million in current or potential debt, from taxes, money he owes his lawyers and lawsuits to settle. The most expensive one is the one you just got. Payment must be immediate.

The phrases ‘Giuliani is being wiped’ (alluding to his pockets being ‘wiped’) are current on social networks. and ‘Giuliani ordered’, especially from accounts created in opposition to former President Donald J. Trump and his co-ideas.

A lawyer has been ordered to pay damages to people he defamed, accusing them of election fraud, in an attempt to deny Trump’s loss in the US election they triggered attack on the United States Capitol, January 6, 2021, an event for which there are still open lawsuits.

Former employees affected include Ruby Freeman and Shane Moss, who worked in Fulton County, Atlanta, at the time of the vote. They claimed they were harassed after Giuliani’s statements.

A federal judge suggested the former mayor may have been dishonest about his finances and expressed concern he may not comply with the sentence.
