After yesterday’s day full of emotions, when the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz dismissed the current presidents of Polish Television, Polish Radio and the Polish Information Agency, further information regarding changes in the functioning of public media has come to light.

For now, Telewizja Polska does not broadcast any information or journalistic programs. The first edition of the new TVP1 daily is scheduled to be broadcast at 7:30 p.m., and the only live program so far has been “Pytanie na śnidanie”. However, the changes will also affect the public broadcaster’s entertainment formats.
As reported by the Pudelek portal, which managed to contact a person associated with TVP, the situation is very dynamic, but personnel changes are inevitable. He claims that one of the hosts who will soon stop working for Telewizja Polska is Przemysław Babiarz, who is a sports commentator and, since 2020, also the host of the game show “Va Banque”. It is also unknown what happens to the program itself.
It is not yet known whether the program ‘Va banque’ that he hosts will be completely taken off the air or whether the host will change. Changes are also planned for the ‘Name that melody?’ programs. and ‘That’s how it went’. Here, there will most likely be a change of presenters in January – says Pudelek’s informant.
