On Friday, December 15, just before 9 p.m., the phone started ringing in one of the hotels in Krynica Morska. “There is a bomb under the hotel, everything will explode soon” – these were the words an employee of the facility heard when she answered the call. It was a woman’s voice, and the woman calling argued that they were not . 50 people were evacuated from the hotel. As it later turned out, it was a teenager’s prank.

After the telephone conversation, the hotel staff immediately contacted the police in Nowy Dwór Gdański. The officer on duty sent several fire trucks, policemen from mines and pyrotechnic reconnaissance, from the operational and trial group, from the Police Station in Sztutowo and from the Police Station in Stegna to the site. The police secured the hotel and the area around it for three hours. It turned out to be a false alarm. Evacuated people could safely return to their rooms. The services began to track down the perpetrator of the entire commotion. The connection was made in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

It came to light that she broadcast the entire event live on social media. According to Pomorska, the girl treated the phone call to the hotel as great entertainment. She told the police that she wanted to become a millionaire by causing a false bomb alert. The police seized her phone. The case will be handled by the family and juvenile court.
