TVP Info disappeared from radio receivers in Poland
Shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, TVP Info stopped broadcasting for a moment, in the middle of another conversation with PiS MPs, and then went completely silent. Now, at 11.30, the 24-hour news channel TVP shows an image from TVP 1 – the series “Korona Królów”.
The “problem” concerns not only terrestrial and digital television. TVP Info shows “Korona Królów” also on VOD. First, however, there was a message about “problems with the material”, a moment later it was replaced with a historical series about the Piast and Jagiellon dynasty.

Since the morning, TVP Info has been transmitting news from the Sejm and from the studio in Woronicza, where PiS MPs are staying. They commented on the government’s new decisions regarding public media on an ongoing basis. The expiration of the TVP Info signal coincidentally coincided with the latest decision of Minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, who on Wednesday.
Further talks with PiS politicians who criticized the Sejm’s decision and Tuesday’s resolution on the repair of public media were suddenly interrupted. The temporary lack of signal and the black screen were quickly replaced by the current TVP 1 schedule. Importantly, TVP 1 was also broadcasting the TVP Info signal from the morning – currently both the first program and TVP Info show the same thing, i.e. a historical series.
TVP Info disappeared completely
TVP Info disappeared not only from television, but also from the Internet. Even after 11 a.m., the tvp.info website was operational – on the front page you can see appeals to “defend public media” and calls for viewers and politicians to come to Woronicza, to the TVP headquarters. The website is currently not working – redirects directly to the main TVP website. The website tvpparlament.pl is still operational, where you can still see current political information and comments on the repair of public media.
