And since he got involved in defending Telewizja Polska against the new government, it is possible that he will end cooperation not only with TVP Sport. According to unofficial information from se.pl, a few days ago the management of TVP Sport informed Patyra that the journalist’s contract, which expires in December, will not be extended. He was primarily responsible for running programs, a sports studio and reporting on football matches. Only after the advent of “Good Change” did he start appearing in journalistic programs more often, putting the world of sports in the background. Patyr has also been in the news in recent days due to his participation in a protest in front of the Polish Television building at Pl. Warsaw insurgents in the capital. The presenter then warned the gathered “crowds” against changes in the station.

“Free media is the foundation of democracy. If we want to build democracy on rock, that rock is free media. If we want to build democracy on sand, it is better for all media to speak with one voice. This is not what the democratic world is about,” he began your statement.

“I am convinced that TVP is a medium that speaks to its viewers with an open text. A text that is true. A text that is not only transmitted in Polish, but which also cares about Polish interests. Please believe me that this is difference. It would be better for Poland and Poles if TVP remained unchanged,” he concluded.
