The scandal involving Confederation MP Grzegorz Braun is still widely reported. No wonder, it is rare that such unexpected incidents occur in the Sejm building. The politician grabbed a powder fire extinguisher and extinguished the menorah lit on the occasion of Hanukkah. At the same time, he also attacked a woman who stood in his way. Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia excluded Braun from the proceedings.

Footage of the incident quickly circulated in the media, including foreign ones. The Guardian and ABC reported on the MP’s scandalous behavior, and the information was also reported by the London-based Reuters agency. Braun himself explained in the plenary hall that the Jewish celebrations organized in the Sejm were nothing more than a “Satanic cult.” Observers of the incident immediately started creating humorous versions of the recording and flooded the Internet with memes featuring the MP.

Grzegorz Braun also became the (anti)hero of the latest remake of the band LETNI. The musicians gained popularity 14 years ago with the big hit “Czinkłaczento” and have not stopped recording since then. The artists’ work is based on creating subsequent parodies of famous works. Recently, Letni’s channel featured, among others, a remake of Miley Cyrus’ hit or Blanka’s “Solo”.

Currently, Letni’s latest parody “O Grzegorz Braun” takes first place in the “Na Czas” tab on YouTube in the “music” category. The video has already had over 1.1 million views and over 4.5 thousand comments. The members of Letni wrote their own lyrics to the great hit promoted by Myslovitz.

Poland and the entire EU have seen O Grzegorz Braun, o Grzegorz Braun” – sings Letni to the rhythm of the well-known song “Peggy Brown” by Artur Rojek. “The fire extinguisher trembled in his hands, the pin was pulled out.
