Eurovision 2024 will take place in Malmö, Sweden, thanks to this year’s victory by Loreen, who won the hearts of the jurors and viewers with her song “Tattoo”. Now, however, it’s time for the next round and the exchange of names of Polish candidates is in full swing. The website Dziennik-eurowizyjny.pl organized a survey among users, which clearly indicates who the fans of the European song festival expect. The clear winner was Jan Rozmanowski, i.e. Jann, who defeated, among others, Doda, Roksana Węgiel, Sylwia Grzeszczak and Igor Herbut.
Grzeszczak herself, like Steczkowska and Górniak, does not rule out her participation in the national preselections. Similar interest was expressed by Michał Szpak, who in 2016 gave Poland one of the best results in history – 8th place. We are still waiting for the official list of candidates to represent Poland during next year’s performances in Malmö and we should know more details soon.
Do we know the favorite? Olly Alexander represents Great Britain
We already know the favorite to win next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Great Britain decided that Olly Alexander from Years & Years would be the representative of the Islands. This information was confirmed by the public broadcaster BBC. The artist will be supported by Danny L. Harle, who is responsible for, among others, production. for Dua Lipa’s latest single, “Houdini.”
The author of such hits as “Desire” and “King” is quickly becoming one of the favorites of television viewers, including those in Poland, where he enjoys great sympathy. The 33-year-old did not hide that performing at Eurovision is one of his biggest dreams. This time he couldn’t hold back his emotions in the post published on his Instagram.
