TVP talks about crowds at the protest. Internet users have a different opinion. “More people were on the subway platform”

A protest under the slogan “free media” took place in front of the Polish Television building in Warsaw. The protest in front of the building received wide coverage in the media, and Internet users quickly reacted to the station’s report, presenting the entire situation from a completely different perspective. Numerous posts published on social media included comments that the actual course of the event was distorted, especially in terms of attendance. Strong words were spoken, including: allegations of manipulation.

Apparently your definition of ‘crowds’ is different than the rest

More people than at Norbie’s concert in Szydłowiec

There are probably more employees at TVP than there are protesters

Well, maybe 200 people came. You can’t stop this force anymore

I passed this ‘crowd’ and there were more people on the subway platform

– wrote Internet users under one of Telewizja Polska’s entries. In opposition to this report, photos and recordings taken by passers-by and people who appeared at the site, although they did not support the protest, began to be shared en masse. It can be concluded from them that the station deliberately took shots from such a perspective that they corresponded to the maintained narrative.
