Unfortunately, the show beloved by viewers has come to an end. Last Sunday we found out who found love in the program and who only found disappointment. This Sunday you won’t find “The Farmer” in the TV program.
TVP without “Farmer Wants a Wife” on Sunday
The last season of “The Farmer Wants a Wife” ended on December 10. Emotions after the final episode have already subsided a bit, but the end of the program also means that there will be no “Farmer” next Sunday. Viewers will have to be satisfied with the feature-length film “The House of Two Eagles. Sophie’s Lies”. It is a film version of the series under the same title about Zofia, a repatriate from the East, and her love with Jan, a UB officer.
The series, which aired on TVP at the end of 2022, was extremely popular. However, it was produced much earlier. Initially, it was supposed to be broadcast in December 2021, but then it was decided to change the schedule – on Sunday evening, viewers could watch the third season of the Ukrainian “Zniewolona”, beloved in Poland. The broadcast of “The House of Two Eagles” has been postponed by a year.
In the film, it was decided to expand some of the threads known to viewers from the series. As we read on the website Plotek.pl, we will see “an extended story between Zofia and Jan Liski and we will see how their relationship developed. The lack of this in the series is due to the fact that TVP did not agree to an annex to the contract to make the 11th episode, who would explain the broken stories. We will also find out who Uwe Hagendorf was, who was following Marianna and Helena.”
“Farmer Wants a Wife” will return
However, fans of “The Farmer” will also get something to wipe away their tears. Traditionally, the Christmas episode of the program will also be broadcast on TVP. On December 25 at 8:20 p.m. you will be able to find out what happened to some of the participants. Recruitment for the next edition of the program is also underway, although it is not yet known when it will be broadcast.
