Tomasz Sianecki in “Contact Glass” bluntly about Czarnek: You have to have worms in your head

Tuesday’s “Contact Glass” started with a slight delay. After a day full of emotions in the Sejm, commentators, not without reason, started with the scandalous behavior of MP Grzegorz Braun. However, the greatest emotions among the hosts were aroused by the attitude of Przemysław Czarnek from PiS, who decided to use the entire situation to attack Marshal Hołownia.

TVN24’s flagship satirical program has been broadcast since 2005, and since then the government in Poland has changed many times. However, the program’s commentators, regardless of the times, approach everyday political life with great distance, but when the situation requires it, they can be very critical.

The last Tuesday in the Sejm will be remembered for a very long time

This was also the case during the last edition of the program, which started shortly after 10 p.m. due to the sudden broadcast of events from the Sejm. The commentators of “Szkła” that day were Tomasz Sianecki and Szymon Jachimek, who unequivocally condemned the behavior of MP Grzegorz Braun, who interrupted the Hanukkah celebrations in the Sejm by using a fire extinguisher to extinguish Hanukkah candles.

One of the hosts admitted that he was very impressed by the attitude of Magdalena Gudzińska-Adamczyk, who tried to stop the Confederation politician from committing this shameful act. – She actually tried the Hanukkah candles with her body, which didn’t bother Mr. Braun at all, because you could see how she got hit in the eyes by the fire extinguisher. In my opinion, he is a great character of this event, Sianecki pointed out.

Tomasz Sianecki in “Contact Glass” explained Przemysław Czarnek’s possible reasoning

He further mentioned that in the first minutes of this offense, all MPs spoke with one voice. The presenters mentioned Piotr Gliński’s statement from the Sejm podium, who opposed religious intolerance. However, a moment later, his party colleague Przemysław Czarnek decided to speak out and attacked Marshal Hołownia, claiming that such situations did not occur in the Sejm during Witek’s time as MP.

Commentators clearly indicated that this was a signal for other PiS politicians to start attacking the popular Speaker of the Sejm. Szymon Jachimek recalled that a similar (temporary) atmosphere of unity took place moments after the Smolensk disaster. The co-host of “Szkła” agreed with him and then decided to express his opinion on Przemysław Czarnek’s way of thinking:

I wonder where all this comes from. (…) You really have to have worms in your head that maybe you should actually accuse Mr. Robert Telus of everything. Do you remember this Minister of Agriculture? He appeared in his ad with a fire extinguisher. (…) These considerations, these neurons that circulate in the heads of some politicians go in such unexpected directions – Sianecki summed up.
