Scandal in the Sejm. Braun excluded from the meeting

Yesterday’s incident involving Grzegorz Braun was documented in recordings posted on social media. The Confederation MP first took a powder fire extinguisher from one of the parliamentary rooms and then used it to extinguish the Hanukkah candles burning on the menorah. After this event, he went to the Sejm hall, where, with Krzysztof Bosak’s consent, he addressed the gathered politicians. “You are not aware of the content of this act, this message, innocently called Hanukkah,” Braun said.

The politician later tried to argue with Szymon Hołownia, who came to the room, who ultimately decided to exclude him from the meeting. He also noted that the matter would be dealt with by the Presidium of the Sejm. This, in turn, punished the MP with the maximum penalty, i.e. deprivation of half of his salary for three months and the entire allowance for half a year. A report was also submitted to the prosecutor’s office regarding the incident.
