Kuba Wojewódzki and Piotr Kędzierski hosted members of Ania Mru-Mru on their podcast. The comedians appeared in the studio exactly on the day of the election of the new prime minister, Donald Tusk. Cabarets have recently become more and more willing to use political themes in their skits, so it is not surprising that the hosts asked the guests to comment on the matter.

“I was waiting for the vote and the vote of no confidence and it made a great impression on me. I learned about everything that Mateusz Morawiecki had done and I was quite impressed,” said Marcin Wójcik. In turn, his cabaret colleague admitted that he does not follow politics. The comedian noted that he is aware that what is happening in the Sejm affects him, but he tries to stay away from political discussions, nerves and quarrels.
“I am apolitical, I know that politics enters my life, but not with shoes on. It will be better because when I was going to Warsaw, I fell asleep, so you can sleep peacefully,” joked member Ani Mru-Mru.
Will Ania Mru-Mru’s cabaret return to TVP?
The creators were also asked about their place in Public Television. Kuba Wojewódzki wanted to know if there was a chance to appear on TVP again, whether they could see themselves there. “If such an opportunity arises, yes. We don’t know if cabarets will come back. If there are any proposals, we will consider them,” admitted both cabaret artists. This is an important declaration, especially from Marcin Wójcik, who during the PiS government refused to cooperate with public media and emphasized his position in interviews.
Michał Wójcik admitted that, in his opinion, TV’s “Two” should return to focusing on entertaining content. “There was unofficial information that the entertainment program Two was to return. It was the best feature,” he noted.
