Optical illusion with a woman. What you see in the picture may be related to your age

Looking at the above picture, we can see a young woman with her back slightly turned to us, wearing a band around her neck and with a visible ear, or a close-up of the face of an elderly lady in profile, for whom the previously mentioned ear is an eye and jewelry is a mouth. What did you manage to see? According to research, the result often depends on our age. Australian scientists conducted a study during which they showed a slightly simplified, sketchy version of the image to 393 people (242 men and 151 women) from the United States, aged 18 to 68, most of whom were younger, and the average age was 32. Everyone saw the graphic for just half a second. As it turned out?

Research has shown that it is easier for us to notice a person whose age is similar to ours. Thus, most of the participants, i.e. people aged 18 to 30, saw a younger woman at first glance, while a significant minority (participants over 30 years old) saw an old woman. What did you notice?
