Rafał Zawierucha has been appearing regularly on screen for over 15 years. Already as a student of the Warsaw theater school, he appeared in such series as “Klan”, “Recipe for Life” and , but he is known mainly for comedies. The most popular ones include: “Screwed”, “Good morning, I love you!” or “7 things you don’t know about men”. His breakthrough was undoubtedly the role of Roman Polanski in “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”. Although he only appeared on screen for a dozen or so seconds, it was enough for his career in Poland to gain momentum.

Despite his unflagging popularity and constant media interest, Zawierucha avoids the spotlight and tries not to talk about his private life during interviews. In 2019, however, he made an exception to boast about his really large family. He revealed that he grew up with as many as 23 siblings. How is this possible? It turns out that when he was a teenager, his parents founded a family orphanage. Although he now likes to boast about it and talk about their extraordinary wisdom and strength, in his youth he was not at all happy with this fact. – When my parents took the kids home, I rebelled – honestly. – I went around with a sign saying I was on strike and didn’t talk to my parents. Eight new alien creatures in the house. I was afraid for my space – he recalled the beginnings. Only over time did his attitude and approach to the situation change, and he quickly strengthened bonds with new family members and built real, sincere relationships.

Shortly thereafter, his original cookbook was published, thanks to which he gained crowds of loyal and devoted fans. Today, he finds fulfillment in this field by running a YouTube channel and also appears in the “Dzień Dobry TVN” program, in which he treats guests and hosts to his signature dishes.
