A combination of ethical fashion and style, WEYA, the platform born from the Green Awards ecosystempresented the 37 designers and craftsmen Ecuadorians who led the sustainable parade during this first edition spinoff.
This large-scale textile arts and culture event took place on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 December.at the Anthropological and Contemporary Art Museum (MAAC).
This proposal was not alone and allowed served as a platform to promote the exquisite creations of those selected locally and internationallybut also helped raise awareness among all attendees through training, coaching, speaker panels and workshops with experts.
The latter were located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Art Library, located on the corner of Pichincha and Aguirre.

In this way they started searching becoming a catalyst and promoter of responsible and ethical fashion in the countrywhich focuses mainly on the transparency of production processes and the importance of fair treatment of workers, taking into account the environmental and social impact of the fashion industry, in order to transform it and bring about the necessary positive changes.
Empowering and highlighting local trends and innovations was one of the objectives of the event which also promoted inclusion, quality, cultural roots and traditions that abound in our country.
