The film is already in cinemas in Ecuador Radical, starring Eugenio Derbez.

The film has received critical and critical acclaim. It tells the story of a teacher (Sergio) from a Mexican border town called Matamoros, which is full of desolation, corruption and violence. Amidst all this scenario, he tries a new method to unlock the curiosity, potential and even genius of his marginalized students.

The plot is based on a true story published in the magazine Wired by Joshua Davis. It’s about life Paloma Nayola, a low-income student who achieved the highest math score in her country. This is thanks to the teaching methodology of his teacher Sergio Juárez.

It is directed by Christopher Zalla and uses children who are not professional actors to give this adaptation a more authentic and natural feel.
