Danuta Holecka has always been associated with TVP
Danuta Holecka has been working at TVP for years. However, for a long time she was “only” a journalist in “Wiadomości” and a host of individual websites. The real promotion first came in 2016, when she returned to TVP after many years from TVP Info and TVP 3 as the presenter of the main edition of “Wiadomości”. In 2018, she was appointed to the TVP Ethics Committee. A year later she was the head of “Wiadomości”. She became famous for her flawlessly pro-party interviews with Jarosław Kaczyński, who is said to like her very much. During her term, “Wiadomości” became a government mouthpiece that only publicizes PiS’s successes and criticizes everything the opposition does.
