The Association of Polish Stage Artists announced the death of Cezary Szczygielski. “We express our great condolences to the family and loved ones,” we read in the Facebook post. The artist’s cause of death was not given, he was 82 years old.

“Funeral ceremonies and escorting the deceased to the family grave will take place on December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bródno Cemetery (procession from the wooden church),” the actor’s fans were informed.
Szczygielski was born in 1941 in Warsaw. Since 1997, he has played many characters in the popular series “Klan”. He appeared in the popular series in episodic roles for almost 30 years. The actor’s last television role was the series “#BringBackAlice” from 2023, where he played the role of Patrick’s grandfather.
