When digging the garden, we can find many different finds in the ground. Usually, however, they are not as unique as in the case of the discovery made by a resident of Lubycza Królewska in the Lublin Voivodeship. The case turned out to be so intriguing that the Lublin Provincial Monuments Conservator announced it on social media.

At the beginning of November, Mrs. Iwona Szczerba decided to start the work, or more precisely, to level the area. While spreading the soil that had been delivered to it, an unusual find was discovered. It turned out that this unique item was a spearhead preserved in almost perfect condition. According to experts, it dates back to BC.

This product can be attributed to the people of the Mierzanowice culture and dated to the early period of the Bronze Age, i.e. 1990-1750 BC

The discovered arrowhead is unique not only because it was found in unusual circumstances. Experts are fascinated primarily by the fact that usually similar, equally well-preserved objects are found as part of grave goods, and not as loose finds on the ground. Importantly, the tip has no traces of use, no damage, cracks or chips. Experts are therefore favorable to the hypothesis that this item was, after all, part of the grave offerings for the deceased person.

The find is now being analyzed by specialists. What will happen to the found spearhead after the work is completed?

The found spearhead is 18 cm long and the blade is 0.9 cm thick. Experts point out that it must be an item made by a real specialist who was probably only involved in making similar tools. All because the spearhead is extremely precisely made. What happens to the item?
