It cannot be denied that some participants instantly stole the viewers’ hearts, especially since the cameras show their lives as they really are, and this, in turn, is often far from the idealized world of television. In 2018, the creator of “Boys to Take” lifted the veil of secrecy, admitting that the production did not budget for fees for the characters. He emphasized that despite this, the entire team tries to provide them with the necessary help and support whenever possible, but they are not always able to do everything that the situation requires. – We come and see that they have nothing to eat, that they have no job, so we give money to help them a little. But there is actually no budget for participant fees. This is not a soap opera and written roles. This is life – explained Jerzy Morawski in an interview with .

This is the amount that reality show participants receive. However, this is not all that the production has committed to

At the same time, the creator of the program admitted that the team is not always able to verify whether the participants honestly present their situation and actually need help, or whether they create an image for the needs of the show and, therefore, to earn money. – The document should never include wages for participants. There is then a suspicion that the characters, instead of talking honestly about themselves, will make up things and bend reality. We cannot verify them except by what we see and what they say. But everyone who watches “Boys Available” sees how some people live, he said, but did not reveal the specific amount of remuneration.

However, the portal established that each participant of the program receives PLN 500 for one episode. In addition, the creators also agreed to provide ad hoc financial support after the end of the show and, if necessary, are able to provide assistance in everyday functioning, which was also included in the contract.
