Azkena Rock Festival reveals new names that will be part of the great meeting with rock and roll and live music that will take place on the days June 20, 21 and 22 of 2024 in Mendizabala, Vitoria-Gasteiz. Jane’s Addictionas the new headliner, and Tarque & The Riff Association, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and The Black Halos They join great figures already announced such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Sheryl Crow or Arde Bogotá.

For the first time, Jane’s Addiction, an iconic, innovative and influential band if there ever was one, comes to Mendizabala and does so with its complete original training. Founded in 1985 by vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery, it was one of the first alternative rock groups to gain media attention and achieve commercial success in the United States. . They have not always remained together and some members have changed throughout their history, replaced by stellar musicians who have maintained the essence of the project, taking it to cult band status. They have recently announced that they are working on a new album, which would be the first with the original lineup since the legendary Ritual de lo Habitual.
