‘Cielow’, the new single by Abi Difabio written in response to her ex’s farewell message

“I have changed a lot. I started in 2020 with a more electronic, pop style, with lyrics in English, with producers dedicated to that style of music. But later I’ve been working with producers from different parts of Latin America, and I think I finally found my sound this year Below zero“, said the artist in an interview with this newspaper via Zoom, referring to the subject that was presented in early 2023.

“I consider this the first song with that sound that I really identify with. Now I make music in Spanish; I’m more open to urban pop, elements of reggaeton, trap and drum and bass. There is nothing more beautiful than finding you, and people realize it.”

Then the artist decided to save that sentence and in his home studio He formed the melody that would accompany it (drums, piano and other instruments)before sharing it with John Torres, a producer he previously worked with on the song Yours and mine.

The music video was shot in Miami last October. “Within the concept we wanted to preserve that characteristic of the sky, those colors, and shape what it really means to look at the sky. and that transmits that same energy to people when they see it,” he explains. ‘And take one story based on memories, because the whole song is: memories of the beginning and end of the relationship.

The artist is currently working on her first EP, which he hopes to present in the first quarter of 2024 and which will currently have seven issues. “It makes me very happy that I can do a complete job with each song responding to the other. I will be able to express a lot throughout the album and, above all, tell you a story. “It’s been one of my dreams since I was little.”
