The information presented on its pages is considered true, and attempts to undermine it are strictly enforced by law in Russia. However, the attention of many was drawn to the fragment informing that the man died during World War II while breaking the siege of Leningrad. However, this is inconsistent with the president’s date of birth, because if we accepted it as a fact, Putin would have to have been born no later than 1945, which would confirm the theory that he is currently not 71, but 78 years old. The mistake was quickly caught, and a fragment of the program was replaced, emphasizing that Spiridonowicz lived to a ripe old age and died in 1999.

The above-mentioned propaganda failure is not the first time in which Putin’s age has been questioned. She wrote about it, among others: Krystyna Kurczab-Redlich, former correspondent in Russia, in the book “Vova, Wołodia, Wladimir”. In her opinion, the president was born at least two years earlier than official data says, and not in Leningrad, but in the Urals. According to the version she presented, his parents were Płaton Priwalov, a farmer, and a mechanic. The pregnancy was the result of an affair, so she raised her son alone. She later married a Georgian soldier, gave birth to two daughters and left for Georgia.
