“Nancy Reagan tapped me on the shoulder and said, ‘The princess’s dream is to dance with you, can you make it happen tonight?'” the actor even commented in the interview. Then, almost at midnight, Travolta went to Diana’s table and after making contact with her, invited her to the dance floor.

She happily accepted and did what no royal family would dare to do, surrendering to the movie star while the actor became nervous, as he himself described.

“I remember the decorations. We were at the White House. It was midnight. The scene is like a dream. I approach her, touch her elbow, invite her to dance. She turned and gave me that amazing smile, just a little sad, and accepted my invitation,” John recalled in an interview with squire reviewed by Europa FM.

Then he added “and there we were, dancing together as if it were a fairy tale. Who would have imagined that something like this would happen to me one day? “I was smart enough to record this in my memory as a very special magical moment.”
