In the clip, which lasts only a few seconds, the performer of the songs “She Baila Sola” and “Rubicon” can be seen with a microphone in his hand behind a glass as he allegedly prepares to sing some of his notes. A person who does not seem to recognize him is walking in front of the artist.

“Peso Pluma sings on public roads in Madrid, Spain,” reads the video posted on November 21, although the caption reads “Trueno did it first, but Peso does it twice as well.”

The fact that passers-by did not recognize Peso Pluma does not mean that he is an unknown musician. According to the review Universal This is a trend that several artists have joined.

It is known under the name “Gallery Sessions” or “Musical Sessions” which was born in 2020, according to Europa FM, although it was stopped due to the pandemic. It consists of an artist singing in the middle of a public street, but behind glass, so that everyone can see him.

Specifically, it’s “live music sessions recorded in a storefront,” as described on the Instagram account @gallery.sessions featuring collaborative records by Abhir and Juicy Bae, Manuel Turiz, Cazzu, as well as other up-and-coming artists.
