We are talking about venous thromboembolism, which may occur as a side effect after the Vaxzevria vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca).
In addition, cerebral venous thrombosis, paresthesia, hypoesthesia, tinnitus, transverse myelitis and cutaneous vasculitis are mentioned. – We encourage everyone who suffered a venous thromboembolism after vaccination with the Vaxzevria / AstraZeneca vaccine, which resulted in a hospital stay for at least 14 days, to submit an application for compensation to us – Patient Ombudsman Bartłomiej Chmielowiec. The application can be submitted until September 21, 2024.
Covid vaccines. This is not the first appeal about side effects
Just a few months ago, attention was drawn and appeals were made to patients who experienced myocarditis and pericarditis after receiving a dose of the Jcovden vaccine (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson). The deadline for submitting an application for compensation in this respect is July 4, 2024. From 2022 to the end of the first half of 2023, 223 decisions on the payment of compensation due to vaccines have already been issued. A total of PLN 4.5 million was paid.
