Netflix shared with viewers information about the premiere of the series “The Gentlemen”. Production is scheduled to appear next year, but no specific date has been announced yet. The series will take place in the same universe as the original film, but completely new actors will appear. And since Guy Ritchie is again responsible for the script and direction, let’s get ready for a combination of crime cinema with action bathed in the vapors of absurd humor.
The main character of the new “Gentlemen” will be Eddie Horniman played by Theo James (star of “The White Lotus”), who inherited a huge estate from his father. Unfortunately for him, the property will be involved in the not necessarily “clean” dealings of Mickey Pearson (played by Matthew McConaughey), one of the main characters of the original film.
And as we remember, the world around his marijuana business is extremely complicated and everyone wants to take over his legacy. The new owner of the plot will become involved in the crazy whirlwind of the London underworld. Will Eddie be able to beat the big guys at their own game? We will find out soon.

The series will consist of eight episodes, each of which will last approximately half an hour. Guy Ritchie will not only be responsible for the script and direction, but will also become an executive producer.
