Piotr Kra¶ko is condemned. He was supposed to drive for six years without a driving license

According to the newspaper, the police detained Piotr Kraśka for a routine inspection in the Podlaskie Voivodeship at the beginning of April this year. It turned out that the TVN presenter not only did not have his driving license with him, but also revoked his permissions. According to the law, driving a car in this case is an offense.

Initially, Piotr Kraśko was sentenced to a fine of PLN 7,500 and another year of driving bans. The prosecutor’s office appealed against the so-called an injunction, but in an ordinary trial, the court issued an identical judgment. The prosecutor’s office finally withdrew the appeal, the sentence is now final.

The journalist was to have his driving license withdrawn first in 2009 (after collecting too many penalty points) and again in 2014 – then he should pass the exam again, but did not take it. Therefore, from 2015, he should not be behind the wheel.

Piotr Kraśko is a journalist and TV presenter. In the years 1991–2016 he worked for Telewizja Polska, he was a correspondent for TVP in Brussels (2003), Rome (2004-2005) and Washington (2005-2008). In the years 2012-2016 he was the head of the editorial office of “Wiadomości”. He has been associated with TVN since 2016 – first he was the co-host of “Dzień Dobry TVN” and host of the program “Facts about the world” (2016-2020), and from 2020 he was the host of the main edition of “Fakt”. In 2015-2020 he was also associated with the radio Tok FM. Kraśko is a two-time winner of the Wiktor in the TV presenter category (2008, 2013), as well as the Telekamera prize in the news presenter category (2021).
