The autumn and winter period is a time when many people are looking for the answer to the question: what will be the best for immunity? Nobody likes being sick, it is undoubtedly an obstacle to everyday functioning. Fortunately, there are many ways to strengthen your immunity. Building immunity is a complex process that will never bring the expected results if one of its elements is not a change in lifestyle. A lot has been said about the factors that help maintain the condition of this key system, so it is no secret that proper diet, exercise, spending time outdoors (and in the sun!) and even appropriate clothing adapted to weather conditions.
There are many causes of impaired immunity. It may be caused by a deficiency in the production of antibodies and immunoglobulins, with impaired lymphocyte activity. The reasons for this condition may be different – congenital or acquired. Immunity may also be impaired by the effects of external, non-infectious factors: – taking certain medications, – environmental factors, – improper nutrition or malnutrition, – chronic stress.
A treasure trove of valuable substances – Aloe arborvitae
For centuries, people across the world have used substances contained in plants to ensure their health. Even though they were not fully aware of the existence of the immune system, did not know the names of immune cells or their functions, they knew that reaching for plants is a good path to health. Following the example of our ancestors, let’s focus on building immunity and substances contained in plants. Tree aloe contains an exceptionally large number of such valuable substances. It is one of 360 species described in the literature.
This small succulent found in our homes is nothing like the one growing in natural conditions. It is a huge plant, growing up to six meters high, with thick and fleshy leaves, with characteristic serrations and a beautiful amaranth inflorescence.
The properties of this extraordinary plant cannot be overestimated. The green, juicy interior of aloe leaves contains a number of substances, in a concentration not found in any other plant. Many of them, i.e. glycoproteins (P-2 and S lectins) and polysaccharides and polypeptides, α-pyrone derivatives (aloenin), anthranoids, enzymes, and numerous microelements, are used in medicine.
Let’s take a closer look at these relationships. Glycoproteins have immunomodulatory properties (cell agglutination, i.e. the process of their sticking together, which is very important in the immune response to infections). They also facilitate an increase in the number of lymphocytes (more on this in a moment) and have a positive effect on other mechanisms of the non-specific immune response. Polysaccharides have protective properties and stimulate the production of antibodies. The α derivative of pyrone, i.e. aloenin, in turn, has distinct antifungal properties. Antranoids also have antifungal properties and have antibacterial properties. Enzymes that inhibit the permeability of cell membranes are also valuable, making it difficult for unwanted components to penetrate into the cell. Tree aloe is a source of as many as 13 elements that also affect the condition of the cell membrane, vitamins B, C, E, A. Substances that help the immune system on many fronts are therefore extremely high in tree aloe. about.
Get to know an extraordinary plantation in Poland
It is no wonder that there is a long tradition of using aloe vera in medicine. The positive resistance properties of aloe vera were noticed already in the first half of the 20th century, and the aqueous extract of the leaves was introduced into medicine already in 1956. And so, a product that is valued to this day appeared on the market ¶ a drug called Biostimina.
The fame of tree aloe reached Poland in the post-war years. The valuable plant is grown in Greater Poland, approximately halfway between Środa and Jarocin. It is the only controlled greenhouse cultivation of tree aloe in Europe, with an area of 4,000 square meters. A unique solution, also the only one in Poland, allows for obtaining the highest quality raw material. It also facilitates the control necessary for subsequent drug production.
But what is so valuable in the ampoule called Biostimin? Pure extract from fresh aloe leaves. There is nothing unnecessary here – no preservatives, sugar, alcohol, gluten or lactose. It doesn’t even have excipients.

When to take Biostimin
The list of ailments in which Biostimin may be helpful is as long as the list of valuable ingredients contained in aloe leaves. The drug can be used in the case of chronic and recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract, the so-called “undertreatment” when we have not treated the disease properly, in states of weakened immunity, during convalescence after infections, as well as after antibiotic therapy.
It is worth emphasizing that Biostimin is traditionally used for bacterial and viral infections. The main effect is to accelerate recovery and support the immune system.
See how Biostimin supports the immune system
We have already said that Biostimina attacks the disease on many fronts. So how does it work? Firstly, it stimulates phagocytosis, which inhibits the development of the infection and makes it easier to fight it faster. Secondly, it helps to increase the number of B lymphocytes. They are crucial for the so-called humoral response, which results in the formation of memory cells. In this way, our body learns to recognize “old enemies”.
Another effect of using Biostimin is an increase in the number of T lymphocytes. They take part in important processes such as the destruction of infected cells. They also regulate the inflammatory process.
Biostimin also increases the number of antibodies. And the more of them, the more “soldiers” our immune system has, the faster a secondary response can occur. This allows us to quickly activate our immune system when the infection hits us again.
The functioning of the immune system is fascinating. When the virus enters our body, it is immediately recognized by cells that are specialized for this purpose. They trigger the reaction of a coordinated army that either kills or devours the virus. Then, the remains of the virus are passed on to other cells, thanks to which the size of the army aimed at catching the enemy increases. So why is it worth using Biostimin? Because for various reasons described above, our immune response is not always effective enough. Therefore, it is worth providing it with additional support.
Convenient dosage
Therapy with Biostimine lasts from 10 to 20 days. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after a 4-week break. The drug is convenient to use because it is taken orally. The amount of fluid is also convenient – an adult needs to take only 1 ml (every day or every other day), for children over five years of age the dose is half as much.
