A woman in her 70s has died in an Australian hospital after a strong fall which occurred last Thursday during a concert by British singer Robbie Williams in Sydney.

A spokesperson for St Vincent’s Hospital has confirmed to the news portal ‘News.com.au’ the death of the woman after passing four days in an induced coma in the intensive care unit.

According to the source, the old woman suffered serious injuries in the head after slipping and falling six rows of seats at the Allianz stadium in Sydney, when people were leaving the venue minutes after the show concluded, on the first night of the British pop star’s XXV tour of Australia.

“Instead of taking the stairs, the woman tried to climb over the rows of seats. “She lost her balance and fell,” a spokesperson for the venue told the Sydney Morning Herald. A team of paramedics treated the woman at the stadium before taking her to hospital, where she eventually died.

The singer of the moment has not commented on the accident on their social networks, while continuing with their tour in the southern country, where they perform on Wednesday in Melbourne.

This tragic incident occurs after the death of a 23-year-old Brazilian girl due to heat stroke before Taylor Swift’s concert in Rio de Janeiro on Friday. Swift declared herself “overwhelmed” and sent her condolences to the family and friends of her fan, and she canceled another concert in the Brazilian city due to “extreme temperatures” in the city.
