I can’t even imagine how I would survive this difficult time without him, she recalled with gratitude. As time passed, feelings between the former lovers rekindled. In 1981, the couple got married, and three years later their family expanded with another child, Jakub. – There was no proposal, no ring, no honeymoon, because it was the middle of the season at the theater – recalled Kowalski, admitting that at that time it was not family but work that was his priority. had been going through a crisis for years, they lived under one roof, but each of them led separate lives. – Each of us had our own world, our own friends. I got used to it, said Sołubianka. It was only many years later that Kowalski realized his mistake. – I could never tell Monika how important she is to me. I was so focused on myself that I didn’t notice her dilemmas – he admitted bitterly shortly before his death.
