The end of November brings several big cinema premieres. Tomorrow, “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Birds and Snakes” directed by Francis Lawrence hits the screens, and next week “Napoleon” by Ridley Scott will appear in the repertoire. And speaking of wedding songs with inappropriate lyrics, what else can we find there? For example, songs such as “She feels the money in me” or “Less than zero”. There is also one more proposition from Maryla Rodowicz’s repertoire – “Szparka sekretarka”, which, if anything, is more of a divorce song. And if we sing the chorus line “I tried so hard” from Czerwone Gitary to the end, we will hear “and now you don’t want me.” The singer is definitely in love, but not reciprocated, and wants to hear about the reasons for this state of affairs.
In turn, “Red Corals” from Brathanki also often appear in the repertoire of wedding bands, and it is a text about a boy deceiving a girl and then abandoning her. However, she decides not to worry about it and adopts the same pattern of behavior as the cruel pickup artist. There can be no question of any “until death” here.
