The Cultural Heritage Technical Unit of the municipality, via the Nicasio Safadi Hall Schooloffers musical specialization scholarships to new artists and composers.

Registration is open from November 6 at the Julio Jaramillo Popular Music Museum.

The courses are open to interested parties between the ages of 12 and 30, who have prior musical knowledge and show an interest in national music.

Students receive experiential and practical transmission of musical knowledge, styles and techniques from dedicated figures in popular music, such as Freesia Saavedra And Naldo Campos.

The practice areas include singing, guitar, piano and accordion. The term is two years and consists of four cycles: two per year.

Registration is done in person at the Music Museum facilities.located in the El Astillero building (second floor) in Puerto Santa Ana, Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
