Monika Rosca was born in Łódź in 1961. She was selected for the casting from among 5,000 candidates. The producers of the hit film noticed in her innate charm and exceptional professionalism, which is rare among such young actors and actresses. Work on the film took four years. At that time, Monika Rosca had to give up learning to play the piano, which was her greatest passion. After finishing work on the film, Monika Rosca gave up acting. From the very beginning, she linked her future with music, to which she devoted her professional future. “While playing Nel, I experienced a fantastic adventure that I would never have experienced otherwise. However, after the shooting, I returned to the piano and practiced,” she told “TeleTygodnik”. Rosca graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Academy of Music.
