Monika Rosca was born in Łódź in 1961. She was selected for the casting from among 5,000 candidates. The producers of the hit film noticed in her innate charm and exceptional professionalism, which is rare among such young actors and actresses. Rosca was ready to do anything to look good in front of the camera. “When I have a task to do, I do everything to do it as best as I can. Work on the film took four years. At that time, Monika Rosca had to give up learning to play the piano, which was her greatest passion. While filming the film, Rosca also had to face other challenges. Her greatest fear was of wild animals, of which she was very afraid. From the very beginning, she linked her future with music, to which she devoted her professional future. “While playing Nel, I experienced a fantastic adventure that I would never have experienced otherwise. However, after the shooting, I returned to the piano and practiced,” she told “TeleTygodnik”. Rosca graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Academy of Music.
