Brawl on TVN24. Piasecki couldn’t stand it and shouted at the politicians

The guests of the “Kawa na ławę” program on TVN24 could not reach an agreement. A fierce discussion ensued between the politicians, which even Konrad Piasecki could not interrupt. The host several times drew attention to the guests invited to the studio, but it was difficult to cool down the emotions on the air.

The topic of the last episode of the program was the coalition agreement concluded last Friday by the leaders of the opposition parties. The parties to the agreement have been negotiating its terms for the last three weeks. On Sunday, representatives of several groups were invited to the studio: Left, PiS, Third Way and Confederation. The guests also included Małgorzata Paprocka from the Chancellery of the President.

Brawl in the TVN24 studio. The presenter could not calm down the guests

The discussion between politicians arose after a question from Stanisław Tyszka from Konfederacja. “I would like to ask you whether you respect the results of the elections last month. I am talking about restoring the lawful functioning of the Sejm. Do you think that the group that received 1.5 million votes of support, i.e. Confederation, deserves to participate on equal rights in work? the Presidium of the Sejm?

After these words, chaos reigned in the studio. The politicians shouting over each other were interrupted by Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk from the Left: “I would like to ask how the Confederation MPs voted for the election of deputy speakers of the Sejm of the 9th term?” The host tried to break up the guests’ argument, but to no avail. “There is no such standard or custom. Do you know what the Sejm custom is? Such that if someone runs for Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, he or she must win a majority. If the Confederation’s candidate obtains a parliamentary majority and is elected to such a position, it will be in the presidium,” the MP continued, to which he responded in a raised tone: “Mr. Stanisław Tyszka and Mrs. Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, please…”.

However, the Confederation politician did not intend to refrain from making further comments against the Left MP, accusing her of the party not respecting voters. After these words, the presenter once again drew Stanisław Tyszka’s attention. “We respect her because we recognize parliamentary mandates,” Dziemianowicz-Bąk replied nonetheless.
