Buczkowska is a devout Catholic and willingly talks about her conversion. She realized how important faith was to her when she was in a high-risk pregnancy. – For me, this time was a several-month retreat, a deep conversation with God about who I am, why I am here, what is most important to me – she confessed in an interview with “Niedziela”.
“I argued with God”
The death of her brother-in-law at a young age was a very difficult experience for the actress. Buczkowska could not come to terms with this loss for a long time. She had a huge grudge against God about this. However, it was at this time that her conversion began. – I had to take medication because I couldn’t work. I argued with God and didn’t understand how He could take such a young man away. But from that moment my conversion began, she revealed in an interview.
The change in his wife’s attitude was noticed by her husband, Ksawery Szlenkier. At some point, the man even began to fear that his beloved was falling into devotion. However, as Buczkowska recalls, everything got back on track when she entrusted her marriage to Mary.
