Netflix has prepared something special for Polish viewers. On the occasion of the upcoming Independence Day, a special collection has appeared on the website. Gra¿yna Torbicka encourages you to watch two hundred films and series.

“The works of Polish artists show our diversity from many perspectives. These stories stay with us long after we see them. Sometimes they become part of our reality. Some are like a mirror: they reflect our tradition, our national or personal experiences. Others give insight into life. on the other side, they teach a broader perspective and empathy. They are also entertainment, because who doesn’t like to laugh and sometimes be moved?” – Grażyna Torbicka announces the special Netflix collection in a short video that can be seen on the website.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the streaming platform has prepared a special collection promoting Polish productions. In the trailer for the special “Polish Stories” tab, which features almost two hundred Polish works, the journalist encourages you to get acquainted with these paintings. “Who doesn’t want to escape from everyday life to fantastic, terrifying or delightful places? The power of these stories is undeniable. They are shared moments that become embedded in our identity,” Torbicka emphasizes.

The list includes both very popular titles and quite non-obvious propositions. The tab has been divided into additional subcategories. Netflix subscribers can choose between “frames from our history”, productions “awarded and recommended by critics”, the “this is what Poles love” category, “laughter in Polish”, “Polish hits” or “stories written by life”.

The “Polish Stories” collection includes original Netflix productions such as the series “Infamia”, “Wielka Woda” and the hit of recent weeks, the film “Quack” with Leszek Lichota in the role of Professor Wilczur. In addition, viewers can watch Polish cinema hits. In the tab you will find the famous “Corpus Christi”, “Johnny” and “Filip”. Fans of light cinema will be able to watch the “Planet of Singles” series, and biography fans will have a difficult choice whether to spend an evening with “The Last Family”, “Skazany na bluesa”, or maybe the film “Krzysztof Krawczyk. My whole life”.
