TVP mocks a TVN journalist. On the screen is a statement from a few years ago

In the program “Jak oni lie” on TVP Info, the station’s journalist Micha³ Rykowski ridiculed his colleague from TVN24. Andrzej Morozowski recently explained his statement about the PiS government. The editor of public television decided to take advantage of it.

“Tak jest” is a daily news and journalistic magazine by Andrzej Morozowski with the participation of observers and participants of political life, broadcast on TVN24. In one of his last editions, the journalist addressed his critics. He read a statement regarding the conversation with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz, in which he stated that “PiS did not literally break the constitutional provisions,” but effectively “circumvented and stretched” them.

Andrzej Morozowski issued a statement. TVP Info mocks the journalist

Morozowski called his statement “an unfortunate mental shortcut” and read a precise explanation regarding the inappropriate choice of words on air. “The constitution was violated by PiS, which I have talked about many times in this studio over the last eight years with lawyers, judges and constitutionalists. And I hope that these words will be as willingly quoted by the government media as the previous ones, taken out of context,” he noted. Morozowski.

The journalist’s statement did not escape Info’s attention. The day after Morozowski made his statement, the editor’s statement was quoted in the program “Jak omi lie”. “Of course, these words will be cited as a sinister example of instrumental management of the truth. What the officer from Wiertnicza did is reminiscent of self-criticism, i.e. a party ritual from times long gone,” said Michał Rykowski, quoted by the WP portal, and then read the definition of the word “self-criticism “.

Andrzej Morozowski ridiculed in the TVP Info program

Morozowski’s explanations were not only ridiculed on air, but also compared to the behavior of a communist apparatchik. “Well, a man will leave the PRL, but not a man will leave the PRL. Besides, Andrzej Morozowski does not hide his sympathies for the People’s Republic of Poland,” Rykowski announced on the air. However, this is still not the end of the sarcasm from the TVP journalist.

TVP Info recalled Morozowski’s archival statement on illiteracy in Poland. “If the right wing, the London right wing, had come to power after the war, this probably wouldn’t have happened. There wouldn’t have been such a fight against illiteracy, such electrification and probably a few other things,” said the TVN24 journalist in his program in 2021. The host of “How They Lie” decided to correct the statement by saying: “Let’s correct the lie about illiteracy. It was not the communists who started the fight against illiteracy, but Józef Piłsudski.”
