Marcin Patałek joined the American team in 2019. The 19-year-old from Poland delighted the jurors, especially Simon Cowell, who said after the performance: “It was amazing.” The young guitarist reached the semi-finals of the talent show, and after the program he signed a contract with Sony Music. In 2022, he went on tour around Poland, performing in Kraków, Kielce, Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław.
When he sang, the jurors were speechless. Now he can appear in an American talent show again
Patałek is currently preparing to release a new album, which he is recording in Los Angeles. A few months ago, he recorded and then published online a guitar version of “Habanera” from the opera “Carmen”. The interest in the Pole’s composition was really great, because in just a month it was listened to almost 1.4 million times. Recently, the young musician also recorded a cover of the song “Laya on One Guitar”, which was played 200,000 times within 4 days.
NBC announced that in 2024 it will present a spin-off of “America’s Got Talent” to viewers, the title of which will be “AGT: Fantasy League.” The talent show will again feature the finalists and winners of previous editions, but it is not yet known who we will definitely see in the program. The long list of potential participants included, of course, Marcin Terazałek, but the decision about who will appear in the program will be made by the viewers in a virtual vote. The rules of the new talent show are to be similar to those known from “X Factor”. Participants will be divided into four teams and will later compete with each other.
