A few days ago, the “Mert Pol” channel published material devoted to the music of Budka Suflera. The Scottish creator, whose social media activity is devoted to Polish culture, showed his reaction to the band’s performance during the Woodstock festival in 2014. He was positively surprised not only by the music, but also by the behavior of the audience, who, together with the singer, sang loudly “Jolka, Jolka, remember”.
He saw Budka Suflera perform for the first time. He was speechless with shock
Almost ten years have passed since Budka Suflera’s performance at the festival, but the band’s biggest fans still remember the legendary performance of the group’s greatest hit, the song “Jolka, Jolka, Remember”. The Scottish creator watched this recording and then commented on it. “Fantastic. “One of the best rock performances I’ve ever seen,” he praised after listening to the concert. Previously, he himself was nodding to the rhythm of the music.
The Scottish YouTuber was also surprised by the behavior of the audience, which was fully focused on the performance. “Polish fans are something different. Everyone is doing something, some are swinging in the crowd, everyone is singing so loud… Everyone was involved,” he continued. He also added that this reaction from the audience applies to many performances by Polish artists who are able to attract the crowd’s attention with their original sound and beautiful vocals.
“Polish music fans are at a higher level” – he summed up. The Scottish creator also asked Internet users about their own experiences related to Budka Suflera’s music. On the YouTuber’s channel you will find reactions to, among others, the performances of Agnieszka Chylińska and Czesław Niemen.
