Temperatures in Poland have spoiled us for a long time this year, but everything indicates that real autumn has finally arrived. Most of us dream of sun and relaxation in some beautiful place. Where to go in autumn for a quick city break? This question is answered in today’s episode by Marta Gałuszka – brand manager of FRU.pl. In turn, in the second part of the program you can see a report from the opening of a new space in Centrum Praskie Koneser, where children rule. Of course, we are talking about the town of Mini Citi.
On what days should you buy tickets for the cheapest price? Don’t do it at the beginning of the week
We can find a lot of theories on the Internet that there are specific days when airline tickets are the cheapest. Is this really the case? – Yes, it’s true – says Marta Gałuszka. Although it may seem that booking flights at the beginning of the week will be the cheapest, this is not the case.
The cheapest days to book airline tickets are Saturday and Sunday.
Marta also tells us that Poles most often book tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – the days when it is the most expensive. Thanks to our expert, we now know when to buy tickets and when is the best time to plan a flight? Marta Gałuszka also has advice for travelers here. – It’s best to do it on Thursday and Friday, because on these days the flights are the cheapest – he advises.
Mini Citi Town – a place where children can try various professions and earn Minias
There has never been a place like this in Poland. The grand opening of Mini Citi took place on October 21. This is an educational town intended for children aged 6 to 15. In this unique space, there are as many as 13 workplaces to choose from, where the youngest can not only try out various professions, but also earn Minias, which they can later spend in the town shop or save in the bank. Why was such a place created at all? This is explained to us by Małgorzata Trzaskowska – project coordinator of the “City of Children” foundation.
The inspirations were different. One of them were projects implemented by the Kurzewski family in the Topacz castle. In turn, I was inspired by towns in the United States. We combined the Kurzewskis’ experience from the summer camp (…) with a certain idea that I wanted to introduce from year-round financial education for children, and this is how we led to this project being created.
Mini Citi also houses the Gazeta.pl editorial office. – Creating modern, creative and smart online media is great fun and an exciting adventure, which is what great journalists, editors and video publishers at Gazeta.pl do every day. But being a media employee in today’s world is also a very responsible task that requires the ability to verify information. I hope that we will be able to show both these aspects of our work to children visiting the Gazeta.pl editorial office in miniciti – says Rafał Madajczak, editor-in-chief of Gazeta.pl.
