Homemade toilet cleaning balls. It will be sparkling clean
To make cleaning balls you will need products that you probably already have and can find them in your kitchen cupboard. Prepare:
- half a glass of citric acid,
- grated zest of 1 (you can omit),
- half a glass of baking soda,
- half a cup of cornstarch,
- 15 drops of your favorite essential oil, preferably tea tree or eucalyptus,
- distilled or boiled and cooled water,
- bowl,
- large jar with cap,
- spray bottle,
- silicone molds.
How to prepare reliable toilet cleaning balls:
- Pour the water into a spray bottle and mix the dry ingredients and peel thoroughly in a bowl. Add and mix again.
- While stirring constantly, gently spray the products with water so that the whole thing resembles slightly wet, sticky sand when squeezed. Be careful not to overdo it.
- When you get the desired consistency, put the “sand” into molds and put it in the fridge for a few hours.
- After this time, remove them from the mold and put them in a dry and warm place for 1-2 days to dry out a bit. Thanks to this, they will have the perfect consistency and will not crumble.
- Store in a tightly closed jar.
How to use toilet cleaning balls? It’s child’s play
Simply throw your homemade cleaning ball into the toilet. When it starts to fizz, use a brush to spread it over the inside of the bowl, and then simply rinse it off with water. All dirt, unpleasant smell and limescale deposits will disappear. The whole thing will be sparkling clean.
