Tomasz Karolak gained viewers’ sympathy thanks to the roles he played, among others: in the films: “Only love me”, “Testosterone”, “Don’t lie, darling”, “Lejdis”, “Show me what’s inside you”, “Letters to M.” and “Planeta Singli”, as well as the series “39 i Pół” and “Rodzinka.pl”. In an interview with Journalist, he admitted that although a fortune teller predicted to him years ago that he would achieve anything in his profession, he was not interested in a career in Hollywood. “I am very proud of the way I see Marcin Dorociński in “Mission Impossible” or in “Vikings” or in “The Queen’s Gambit” (…) This is not the path for me. I don’t feel it, it’s not in me” – he said.
Tomasz Karolak says how much money he needs for a happy life
Under the fire of “hot questions” from the Journalist, Karolak also said when he was last single, whether he did anything in life just for money, whether he paid for sex, and whether he believes in UFOs. However, the most controversial question turned out to be: “How much money do you need per month to live happily?”
In the podcast, Tomasz Karolak repeatedly emphasized that material goods do not define him and do not matter much to him. At the same time, he showed great sincerity during the question and answer session. Not everyone liked it. When he was asked about the money he needed to live a happy life, he replied without hesitation: “PLN 40,000.” This confession surprised Internet users, especially since he later stated that actors earn too little.
“So how am I supposed to live on a PLN 2,500 pension?”
Internet users couldn’t believe the amount he quoted. “So how am I supposed to live on a PLN 2,500 pension?”, “40,000 to live stably and actors earn too little”, “It’s mind-boggling… 40,000 a month. Normal people have 40,000 a year” – we read in the comments.
