can be seen from Friday in the award-winning film “Doppelganger. Doppelganger”. The actor is now undergoing an obligatory marathon of conversations, which sometimes turn to topics other than his last, highly rated role. In an interview with Łukasz Muszyński from Filmweb, the topic of very bad films was discussed. It was impossible not to mention a name that Schuchardt had not spoken highly of before.
Tomasz Schuchardt unscrupulously criticizes Patryk Vega
The actor once received an offer to play a role in one of Patryk Vega’s films. He mentioned several times that he had not decided to accept it. “There were probably five of us who auditioned for this role. Then Sebastian Fabijański took it and played it. I didn’t even go and show up, I didn’t even meet Mr. Patryk. And I think that’s right. Unless I had some problem there with B-class cinema, then who he became as a person, these stories about watches, cars, how much he earns… Achieved – he has achieved, you can brag about it. But I have the impression that there is a lot of human untruth there, “I have a gut feeling. It’s getting worse with each film,” Schuchardt summed up Vega.
He also stated that one of the worst productions he has ever watched is “Vega”. Let us remind you that this is a series (and a film) about Vega himself, directed by Vega with a script by Vega, who (to the surprise of some) is played not by Patryk Vega, but by Rafał Zawierucha. The film was supposed to be the director’s magnum opus, summarizing his career, but – to put it mildly – . Schuchardt summarized what went wrong in “The Invisible War”.
On the one hand, I encourage some people to watch it. I watched all four episodes of “The Invisible War”. This is crazy work. It’s been stuck there for a long time, it’s shocking. But I also admire you for your brave decisions at times. Until now, I thought that the best and funniest passage of time shown in the cinema was the goat that eats a Trabant in “Cat Black, White Cat”.
But this one topped it. It showed the words on black: “Patryk Vega’s films have so far earned $100 million”, and then (…) “Films have earned $60 million.” (…) What this is about?! Aaaah, we’re earlier in history! This is narcissism level 1000. In “The Invisible War” something has been exceeded… This is boasting about one’s own history, there is so much evil there. There is nothing to comment there, the level of absurdity has been exceeded and you are in a different universe.
Will Patryk Vega take such criticism seriously? One may get the impression that something is up, as the director has been silent for a long time. This doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on beneath the surface. , then posted on social media a photomontage of a naked Putin on a pink horse. Whatever awaits us in this production, it will undoubtedly be… powerful.
