Barbara Stesłowicz was born in 1936 in Lviv. In 1958, she made her debut on the stage. At the beginning of her career, she performed at the Lower Silesian Theater in Jelenia Góra-Wałbrzych, then she moved to the Theater. Osterwy in Gorzów Wielkopolski. In the early 1960s, she started working at the Rozmaitości Theater in Wrocław, and then she played on the stage of the Ludowy Theater in Krakow – Nowa Huta. The artist’s fans may also remember her from the role of Lecha in the TV show “Zmiana” or from the role of Notary in “In a Little House”. One of the last productions in which the actress starred was “The Taming of the Shrew” from 1993.
