The circumstances of Rados³aw Herman’s death have been confirmed. A collection has been started

On October 21, the death of Rados³aw Herman was announced. The 51-year-old was the host of the “History Seekers” program on Polsat Play. Now friends of the famous archaeologist have launched a collection to support his loved ones.

On Saturday, Polsat Play issued a special statement on social media, informing about the sudden death of one of the channel’s stars. “A great archaeologist and popularizer of history. He tirelessly convinced us that the Middle Ages was the most interesting historical era. His passion and knowledge inspired many people to discover the secrets of the past. This is a great loss for our team and for everyone who knew him,” it read.

The speculations were confirmed. Radosław Herman suffered a cardiac arrest

Already that day, information was circulating on the Internet that Herman had suffered a heart attack on the set of one of the programs filmed in Parzymiechy near Częstochowa. This news was quickly confirmed. “Radosław went to the field today to shoot another episode of the program… Unfortunately, as it turns out, his last one. During the recording, a cardiac arrest occurred. Unfortunately, despite resuscitation, our friend could not be saved,” it was written on the Facebook profile.

Herman had a family. He left behind his wife Dorota and five children. For this reason, his friends decided to create a fundraiser to support the family in difficult times. The goal is to collect 30,000. zlotys. So far, the collection has already been supported by 228 people who have donated a total of over PLN 16,000. zlotys.

“Radek has always cared for his loved ones. Today, my friend, we want to take care of your loved ones on your behalf, not only with words and hearts, but also by donating the amount collected below. Radek has always supported detectorists, now we can return the favor in this way, although there is no void it will fill nothing, and we must somehow learn to live without it,” it was written on the fundraising page.
