The actor was associated with the Opole theater scene for over half a century. “He came to the Theater School thanks to Aleksander Bardini. He studied with, among others, Jan Kobuszewski and Zbigniew Zapasiewicz. In 1966 he came to Opole, where he started working at the Theater of the Opole Region,” we read in his memoirs.

Zdzisław Łęcki graduated from the Acting Department of the State Drama School in Warsaw. He made his theater debut in 1957. At the beginning he was associated with the Satire Theater in Łódź, then the People’s Theater in Warsaw. In 1959, he started working again in the textile city at the Theater of the Łódź Land. From 1966 he played in Opole at the Teatr Ziemi Opoleskiej, which soon changed its name to Teatr im. Kochanowski.

The actor also played in television shows such as “Drop”, “Hotel”, “Iwona, Princess of Burgundy” and “The Death of Ivan Ilyich”. Fans of Polish series may remember Łęcki from an episodic role in the series “40-year-old”, where he played the role of Karwowski’s schoolmate.
